The name is inspired by Spoon Theory, a powerful metaphor used for the limited energy a person with chronic illness, mental health conditions, other disabilities might have. It gives an empowering and empathetic language for communication to the self and to others, inducing self-compassion and assertiveness.

I'm Betilda Jhansi, or Betty for short.
My approach to therapy is deeply rooted in intersectionality. I believe that our identities – race, gender, caste, sexual orientation, disabilities, neurodiversity – all shape our experiences, and therapy needs to acknowledge that complexity.
I bring my personhood to therapy, that means my experiences, my identities and dad jokes.
I see myself as a collaborator, using trauma informed-feminist theory as a foundation to empower you. We can draw on tools from ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), and SFBT (Solution-Focused Brief Therapy) to create a path that works for you and build on your strength and support.
My approach is kink-aware, anti-caste, and trauma-informed.
In the past, I've worked with individuals and couples aged 18-40 navigating concerns like childhood & sexual trauma, suicidal ideation, anxiety, depression, BPD, ADHD, relationship struggles, sexual dysfunction, work stress, menstrual disorders
How to access Individual therapy with me?
Step 1: Fill the intake form (it will take 1 min 37 secs) and I will reach out within 2 working days (I am off on Sunday and Monday)
Step 2(Optional): Request for a 15 mins introductory call to get more clarity (email: therapywith.betty1@gmail.com )
Step 3: Post establishing our client-therapist fit(from step 1 and/or step 2), you will receive the booking link, payment link and informed consent document in your email.
Fee per 50 mins session:
For Indian Residents:
Sliding Scale Slots: Rs 1800- Rs 2200 (Currently unavailable) (inclusive of tax)
Full Price Slots: Rs 2200 (inclusive of tax)
For Clients Residing oitside of India:
Sliding Scale slots for NRI Students: Rs 2800-3500 (inclusive of tax)
Full price slots for NRI working professionals: Rs 3500 (inclusive of tax)
